Daniel Motz

Daniel made his stage debut at the age of eleven, performing the title role in Lionel Bart’s musical Oliver Twist under the direction of Wieland Müller. He then focused on his vocal training with soprano Svetlana Katchour. It wasn’t until he began his university studies that he returned to performing—by then a deep bass—first as a member of the chamber ensemble of the Jena Psycho Choir, and later with the student choir Collegium Vocale. Since 2025, Daniel has been enriching the Octavians with his voice.
